Ethical reptile keeping starts here.™
Our Premium PVC Reptile Enclosures are handmade in the USA from the highest quality American made PVC. Each and every enclosure is designed and manufactured right here in the USA. When you shop with Kages you support American manufacturing which means our enclosures take time to manufacture as each is made to order to allow for maximum customization.
Ceramic Light Fixture
Ceramic light fixtures are the most popular option when customizing your enclsoure. These came with screws and can be mounted anywhere in the ceiling of your enclsoure for maximum customization.
9" Square Screen
Our 9" square screen cutouts pair great with dome style lamps and are a great option for snakes.
10" x 10" Belly Heat Recess
For those looking to heat via under tank heat; our belly heat recess is a great choice! We always recommend pairing with a high quality thermostat.
I got a 4x2x2 for a rescued beardie and I absolutely love it! Building was easy and instructions were easy to follow, although I recommend using a drill if you have one, or a screwdriver would work well too but it takes longer and makes your wrists ache. The sliding doors are really good too, since removing the top from a tank and reaching down into the tank might cause your animal to panic. Kages are amazing!

I ordered this after waiting way to long for an enclosure from another popular company. The cage arrived in less than 3 weeks and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and ease of assembly. I really liked the notches for cords and appreciated not having to worry about cable management. It looks fantastic and my growing boa is thrilled with the extra space. I plan on purchasing an 8 ft enclosure next year as her final home. The only con is that you have to unscrew the entire top and remove it to be able to take the glass panels out of the track.
Got my first Kages enclosure about a year ago, a lovely 4x2x2 for a Painted Agama, filled it up all nice and bioactive. Full soil substrate, lightweight fake rock, branches, the whole shebang. We decided to move a little over a month ago and I couldn't bear to tear the whole thing down after putting so much into building it. So I just moved the whole enclosure, substrate and all (though I did remove the lizard just in case). We were very careful about keeping an eye on how it was holding up, took it slow, and we made sure to use moving straps to distribute the weight across the bottom. Had to move it down a flight of stairs, attempted to put it in the back seat of the car but couldn't get it past the door, and eventually had to put it in the back of the moving truck. Through all of that the enclosure seems unaffected, just as sturdy as the day I put it together. And it was definitely heavy, probably one of the heavier things we had to move.
I'm not saying I recommend doing that. It was likely a very bad idea, and the good folks at Kages recommended against doing it as well when I reached out to them prior to the move. For all I know it was on the verge of breaking the entire time. But the fact that I could shows just how sturdy these products are, I wouldn't have even attempted something like that with a product that isn't as well made as these. And most other reptile owners were shocked that I was able to do it based on their experiences with other enclosures, saying they wouldn't even attempt lifting a full enclosure much less moving it.
After that I had to go with another Kages enclosure for my second. Packed well, shipped fast, went together nice and easy, just like the first. Great company to work with and a solid product.
I have had my ball python, peanut, for a little over a year now and always struggled with humidity and heat. I live in Reno Nevada where the average humidity level outside is between 35-40. This inside of my house is 25. For the last year I have battled this combined with lower temperatures inside the house between 60-75. I found Kages through a Youtube channel and figured I would save up and give it a shot. I received my package in a reasonable time which was the first pleasant surprise with the Covid holds. As soon as I took it out of the package I knew I had something special. The build was super easy (with a roommate) and the quality is AMAZING. I was worried that the heat would still seep out especially with temps starting to drop as we get closer to winter but I was wrong. This enclosure has held in the heat and humidity better than anything I have owned before. The pics I attached show the humidity levels at night and during the day. The tank has not dropped below 80 even at night and has kept a beautiful heat gradient with only one heat source in there. The major downside to this enclosure is that once you purchase one, you will want more and glass or plastic tub enclosures will no longer be good enough again. I will recommend this product until I am blue in the face. Overall, I have less to worry about and a happy noodle. (yes I will be buying more plants to fill out the tank, I did not realize how big 4x2x2 would really be) Thank you Kages!
My tegu enclosure was so easy to put together and had no damage from shipping. The lead time is not as long as I was expecting and order updates were accurate. Highly recommend Kages for reptile enclosures - especially for high humidity requirements
Product is as described, well made. Shipped very quickly and well packaged to prevent any damage in transit. Easy to assemble with a helper to hold it in place. Quick response from customer service when I had a question. Overall, very satisfied and would recommend. Makes regulating temp and humidity super easy and hassle free.
VERY EASY TO PUT TOGETHER AND LOVE THE ENGRAVED KAGES LOGO IN THE BACK WALL
JUST WAITING FOR MY LIGHTS TO GET IN THEN I CAN GET MY BALL PYTHON ALL SET UP IN HER NEW ENCLOSURE
WOULD RECOMMEND YOUR ENCLOSURE TO ANY ONE IN THE MARKET FOR SUPERIOR ENCLOSURES
This enclosure is more than I was expecting absolutely beautiful. Easy to assemble did it by myself. Only wish I would of added the sockets. Very impressed with it and excited to use the bio dudes bio active setup for my bearded dragon!!!
We have now purchased 3 - 4x2x2 enclosures and we absolutely love them! Easy to put together and great quality! I highly recommend!
These guys make the best enclosures I bought the 5x2x2 with the 4" substrate board and my 5.5 foot growing black pine snake Athena absolutely loves this enclosure. The black makes snakes feel so secure! I'd recommend getting the glass doors or upgrading from the poly doors because the glass looks and cleans better along with being way more sturdy. Also for how huge this enclosure is it literally only weighs maybe 40lbs with glass doors!
I built a rock structure for our new bearded dragon, and loved the ability to customize the tank for our needs! I was able to put the lighting wherever I wanted, add clips so we're able to remove the top when necessary, and handles to the doors! The enclosure is so sturdy and does great with our cats laying on top of it. The beardie is kept away and safe from their view, so no unnecessary stress! We were very impressed with this tank and happy with our purchase!!
Just got it today and assembly was very easy and didn’t take long at all. The cage already looks awesome I can’t wait to get my baby girl out of her pet store cage and into an actual enclosure that’s better suited for her. Highly recommend Kages!
I bought this enclosure for my Argus. It was pretty easy to set up, remarkably light for its size and quite sturdy. I think it took me about an hour to set up, but I was taking my time with it. I was able to assemble it by myself, though getting the pallet moved was a 2 or 3 person job due to it coming on an 8' pallet. This thing has tons of space and is quite customizable. I have mounted ramps on the inside walls for my critter and all it took was a drill and some screws. It also seems to bond well with gorilla glue, which I used to mount rope hammocks and some cork sheets so that she can climb the walls. I will certainly be getting another for my Flavirufus monitor when she gets bigger.
While the order time was estimated to be 10-14 weeks, I received my enclosure in 28 days! It came in excellent condition and I was able to build it (8’x3’x3’) on my own with the assistance of a chair to hold up the opposite side as I worked. The doors slide so smoothly and it is exactly what I was looking for in a permanent enclosure for my baby boa!
Enclosure just came in today. Recieving it was incredibly fast, so much so I haven't had the time to order the bioactive kit for it yet, maybe two weeks tops from when I placed the order. I'll be putting it together tonight after work.
