All of our PVC reptile enclosures are shipped unassembled to minimize shipping costs and prevent damage in transit. We build and disassemble each individual reptile enclosure to ensure a perfect fit. Assembly is very easy and takes about 15 minutes and requires only a Phillips screwdriver, but I would recommend a drill to speed things up.

Easy to put together, did it by myself. Customized the top a bit, and very sleek looking out of the box design. The front glass panel was broken in the box which is my only complaint. There is no glass track it’s thin cut pvc slots. Really love it, currently building a stand to compliment it.

I’ve now had my 4x2x2 Reptile Kages enclosure for about a month. It is amazing, the 1/2” PVC construction makes it it easy to maintain proper temperatures, mounting the lighting/heating fixtures inside was a breeze and even adding a circulation fan was little more than a snap of the fingers.
Assembly was simple and straightforward and being that I went bioactive with this enclosure, simply running a bead of silicone around all joints was all it took to ensure everything stays put.
I’m so satisfied with this enclosure that I just ordered a second one-3x2x2 for my leopard gecko.
With full Arcadia lighting, Reptile systems IR heater and Herpstat thermostat to run it all, this enclosure is as maintenance free/ set it and forget it, as it gets.
Looking at a 2x2x2 next for my crested gecko.
Don’t waste your time and money on inferior enclosures that don’t maintain temps, that aren’t bioactive ready, that aren’t easily assembled and customizable and that you’ll need to replace after a few years…go with a Reptile Kages enclosure from the start, you’ll be happy you did.

Absolutely love the enclosure, and it’s perfect for my bioactive setup. If I could suggest an improvement for the doors. If there could be some sort of brush barrier where the doors go to keep substrate out, that would be fantastic. Definitely not a negative review, great product and I will be getting another one soon!! Thanks again!!
Seems really high quality, and was pretty easy to build. It did require a bit of coordination to build by myself but it honestly wasn't an issue. I am still building it out / planting everything, and everything has been great so far.
This is the perfect home for my blue tongue skink. We love it so much wr just ordered a 7x3x3 for our tegu! I'll pay the extra cost for the quality of these enclosures. And the fact they are US made just tops off the review!

I went to the Tinley Park expo hoping yo get a kages enclosure for my boa. I've wanted one for a while and finally saw a good opportunity. First off Jason, who I met at th expo, was super kind and is an amazing dude. He even let us borrow his drill so we could fit stuff in our car. Secondly the enclosure is beautiful and holds tempature and humidity so well and it was so easy to put back toghether.
I cant imagine every buying another brand for my reptile encloaures.
Hubby and I decided to spend the extra dough-re-mi to add the desert background to the 4x2x2 enclosure (with solid top and side vents) we purchased for our beardie, Gracie. It looks even better in person. In fact, the depth perception fooled Gracie; she spent two minutes trying to claw through the "invisible" barrier keeping her from exploring the Outback that extends from three sides of her new home.
The PVC holds heat incredibly well. We were originally advised to buy a 150-watt basking light when we adopted Grace, but we found that even a 75-watt bulb gets too hot without a thermostat when we off-gassed the cage. (While HerpStats are extremely reliable, we prefer to run our reptiles' heat sources near full capacity just in case a failure happens.)
Our only complaint is that this background feature isn't available for larger sizes; otherwise, we would've gladly ordered a 5x2x2 for her instead.
Heads-up on setup: Once the enclosure heated up, the background gave off a strong "fresh paint" smell. We cracked the doors open with the basking light running to speed up the off-gassing process, which took about two days. Definitely something to factor into your timeline before moving your reptile into its new Kages cage!
I’m really happy with my new enclosure for my ball python! For the price, it’s a really great option compared to other PVC enclosures of this size. It has all of the same features and is just as high quality. I didn’t catch that it doesn’t come with a lock, which was my bad. The glass is honestly tight enough in the tracks that I don’t think my baby ball python could open it. The PVC is thinner than some other tanks I’ve ordered in the past which made me worry, but it’s just as strong. I would still recommend Kages over anything I’ve tried yet. The PVC didn’t line up perfectly in one corner, but that could easily be my fault while assembling it. I also think caulk would fix it. Overall, it’s well worth it for the money, and I plan on ordering another one soon!
Kages are hands down the BEST pvc enclosure brand. I won’t buy anything else! Easy to assemble, looks great, shipping is fast, and customer service always treats you well! I recommend these to anyone who asks about enclosure options, especially when they are having heat and humidity issues.
Got two enclosures, one for my corn snake and one for my ball python. My corn is still a little guy, so I had to do a few mods to keep the little escape artist contained, but my BP is happy as a clam.
I live in the desert, so even with these enclosures, I still have to monitor humidity and make small adjustments to keep it where I want it. Other than that, the build was fast, easy, and smooth.
The enclosures are great, and I definitely recommend them. They’re not the cheapest option, but I’m not trusting my animals to a cheap enclosure.
I’m running Wilbanks 125W RHPs off 2 Separate Herpstat 1s in both, and they work like a charm. Hot side stays hot, and the cool side stays nice and warm. First pvc enclosures I’ve ever had. So far very good.
Had an AMAZING experience with my purchase. After a stressful couple of months trying to perfect the temp + humidity in my snakes old enclosure and having one of the doors shatter, I didn’t have high hopes of finding another one that would work for her. I am thoroughly pleased with everything from start to finish. Not only was it easy to assemble, customer service took care of my needs right away and switched my order when I decided I’d rather have a solid top over cutouts. This is my second Kages enclosure, and I’m still impressed. This one took me a little longer to put together because I only had one screwdriver 😂. My wife had my truck, so that was literally the only tool I had available.
Even with that, the build only took about 90 minutes. It’s not fully set up yet, I still have work to do on the rack and the interior, but the enclosure itself went together solid.
You can feel the quality. The panels, hardware, fit, and finish are exactly why I went back for a second one.
Remember, you get what you pay for. With Kages, you can tell where the money went.
From start to finish, this was an amazing experience. Customer service was responsive, helpful, and genuinely cared about making sure everything went smoothly. Assembly was incredibly easy—clear instructions and no frustration at all. And the product itself? Total wow factor. It exceeded expectations in both quality and appearance. I ordered a custom 4’ x 1.5’ x 2’ Premium PVC Enclosure and was impressed with the turnaround time, especially for a custom build - the cage was at my door within a week of payment. Customer service was great to work with throughout the entire process, too.
Everything arrived well packaged, assembly was straightforward, and the finished product looks so sleek. I’ll definitely be coming back to Kages for any future builds!
Not going to lie, I was a little scared attempting to build this enclosure solo but the assembly was pretty straight forward (would have been a piece of cake with two people). Other than just making sure to line up the pieces so they fit together well, the hardest part was figuring how and where to mount the lights and heat. I found helpful youtube videos by The Bio Dude and ZA reptiles who were setting up the same or similar Reptile Kages enclosures! (I even found a promo code from one of the videos). The enclosure was nicely packaged AND came with extra hardware and a sticker :) Everything was labeled so it was super easy to figure out what went where.
So far I am VERY happy with this enclosure, I haven't had to battle the heat and humidity as much as my glass tank. Having front access via the sliding glass doors is a game changer and so convenient. The tank is high quality and looks very snazzy. My 22 Year old ball python is definitely happy with the upgrade!
Kages is hands down the best. I made an error when ordering my setup, I ordered the wrong size cabinet. The Kages crew reached out to me, to confirm that was the cabinet size I wanted instead of sending the wrong one and calling it my fault! I cannot say enough nice things about my ordering experience with them! 10 stars, great product, amazing company!

The package was damaged while being delivered, and a replacement was shipped as soon as possible.
The enclosure was easy to assemble and customize. I had to clean the enclosure due to snake mites, but cleaning/changing the soil of the enclosure only took about an hour before it was at its clean state that it came in.
I have no compaints!

I researched all the different PVC enclosure brands/options and I wish I would’ve just gone with Kages from the get go. The quality is amazing and assembly is easy. The cord cut outs at the top of the back panel make it easy to mount lighting and heat to the top and then use cable clips to neatly secure cables to the roof and direct them to the cable holes in the back. I’m very happy with my purchase and setup and their customer service is outstanding as well as the fast ship times. Don’t waste your time looking around.
Had a great experience building and decorating my new enclosure. Instructions were simple, and the pieces lined up well. Feels very sturdy (will be lifting it onto a case later, so we’ll see how that goes) and looks great.
Feels really good to get my ball python into an enclosure that fits him better.
The only issue that I had was kinda my own fault. The front center support (clear piece) extends all the way from the floor to the ceiling of the enclosure. Problem was, when I went to install it, I had already put in the drainage layer and the substrate! So I had a heck of a time getting that piece to fit. I assumed that the brace just attached to the back of the upper and lower face pieces with some room to spare on the top or bottom. We all know what assuming does! Anyway, if I’d just quickly measured beforehand, problem solved.
All in all, very happy with this purchase! Thanks Kages!
This enclosure is awesome! This was my first PVC enclosure, and I wish I would’ve gotten one sooner! My ball python’s old tank had a lot of trouble holding in heat and humidity, which was causing her a lot of discomfort and a couple of costly trips to the vet. After looking at reviews for Reptile Kages, I decided to give them a go, and I couldn’t be happier with it! Knowing that my ball python is safe and healthy gives me such peace of mind, and Pandora couldn’t be happier!!
PS if you’re at all intimidated by having to assemble the enclosure, it’s a lot easier than it seems! I got help from a friend just so she could screw in the parts while I held them, and the pre-drilled holes made it fool-proof!

The whole kage went together well, the hardware given was perfect, it holds humidity awesome, the silicone I used around the base clings on well, all together it’s a fantastic product. My only real grip is that you can’t remove or install the glass without needing to take apart the lid. Other than that I’m very pleased
