Heating Recommendations

We do not recommend ceramic heat emitters (CHEs) in PVC enclosures. Safer, more effective alternatives include:

• Heat projector lamps (e.g., Arcadia Deep Heat Projector) — pair with the Solar Ceramic Heat Bracket for clean mounting
• Halogen basking bulbs — a natural, broad-spectrum heat source
• Radiant heat panels — ideal for ambient belly or ambient air heat
• Under-tank heat mats — choose your belly heat recess and pair with our Ultratherm Heat Pad

Always use a quality thermostat and digital thermometer to monitor and regulate temperatures. Spyder Robotics thermostats are a trusted option in the hobby.
